What is an Android Car?

After dabbling for several years and several hundred dollars later I was never able to accomplish my dream of having that awesome Car PC Build.

My Problem? I came to realize that this hobby was becoming a money pit! Building a car pc was Too Expensive, Too Time Consuming, Not Portable and Hard to Implement!

After many year of frustration and poor results, I stopped my project and began to rethink how I would be able to solve this problem.

Flash forward to now. 11 years passed, Fresh ideas and a new car later, my prayers were finally answered. Learning from past mistakes, my dream took hold in a new form!

With the advent of Android smartphones and tablets, I came to the realization that these handheld mobile devices could provide me with all the functionality of a car PC:

• Multimedia ( Video, Music, Internet/ Satellite radio)
  
• Navigation (Online/ Offline GPS)
  
• Information (traffic, gas prices, restaurants, POI- places of interest)
  
• Gaming ( Games and game system emulators for passenger entertainment)
  

• Portable (fits in my coat pocket)
  
• Instant-ON (no need for crazy power supplies or wiring)
  
• Connected (Easy to connect with built in 3g/ 4g or via a smartphone tether)
  
• Flexible integration (easy to connect with other devices via Bluetooth, USB, or Wifi)

   Another Dilemma popped up. After researching around on the internet for ways how to best do this, I discovered that I was unable to find all the info I needed in one place. So I decided,
